Thought it was about time I shared some of my recent fabric purchases with you all. I have found a great new range which I am in love with and can't wait to create something out of it come the New Year.

It can only mean one of two things:
#1 I am busy sewing or shopping?
#2 I am running the house...

Guess what, yet again has won in this instance. That's right #1.

So, I know things have been quiet but since my holiday I am still having serious motivation issues, not to mention serious time to get everything that needs to be done issues. Add to this trying to become a healthier me, family and well life is getting in the way of my lovely blog. I promise I will try to come back in more regularly.

For the moment however her are some wonderful new fabrics that I have orders and should be hear very shortly.

Of course there are also all of the fabrics that have arrived in the last few weeks, bit you will have to wait a few more days for pictures of finished projects to see those ones.

Because they should be shot!

I went to get a few (read: wrote a list of what was needed, was to stick to it) fabric items, mostly for nappies and for some custom made PJs that have been ordered. Came home with three bags full of fabric and still didn't get everything on my list *sigh*

Thankfully I have today cut almost 70% of the cotton fabrics into wonderful new items to take to the markets in August, which is something, I guess.

In the goodie bags yesterday I got the following items:

I have already cut a beautiful little reversible dress out of the TT fabric, a pinafore out of some of the SH and am going to do some shorts with matching top out of the MM fabric.

Been a very productive few days in the fabric selection and cutting department here.

Here is a little peek at what is on it's way to me in the not to distant future. To celebrate, upon arrival of this wonderful new fabric I will be running a competition here at Inspired by Children. Be sure to check back.

I've managed to pick a few new fabrics that I am hoping to make some creations from before the markets on the 12th.

The first two are by far my favourite and can't wait to make something from them. And the cord I love, although my other half isn't overly impressed with it (but he doesn't understand the love of cord like me).

I decided to pick draw three names and it worked quite well seeing as all of these people have managed to pick 2 or more of the prints that will be ordered :) Now just to let them know and also let them decided what they are going to run with!

There are still heaps more to share, but I need to sort through which I really want and which I really need otherwise I will have more fabric than I know what to do with :) There are more from the David Walker range that are a definite and also some that I really want want are showing as out of stock, so I need to check those with the wonderful people at Fabricworm to see what I can do....
