4 more sleeps to go.....
I know it is last minute with Christmas being Friday but check out these stocking stuffers I found for my little ones
So I brought my daughter her first ever nappy, she has never had a purchased MCN before as she has always worn what I have made and seconds at that. Poor second child :)
I brought her one of the new ERO Cute Tooshies that are available from Bubblebubs and OMG I want more. More importantly I want some fabric so I can make her a matching outfit to show off her nappy.
We got the top one, Red Abstract and I think I want more.
Now off to find some fabric to make to make a matching dress.
What a day!
Yesterday saw us attend The George Street Festival in East Freo, a busy, fruitful & long day out in the wonderful WA sun. The festival was a great day out, from what I saw and our location was prefect right next to the play ground with all the activities for the children.
We introduced Bridget and she was only with us for a very short time, like 1 hour before she went home with a wonderful woman for her little person for Christmas.

Some pictures from the market of course.

Can't wait for next weekend at Mundaring, our last market for the year.
It can only mean one of two things:
#1 I am busy sewing or shopping?
#2 I am running the house...
Guess what, yet again has won in this instance. That's right #1.
So, I know things have been quiet but since my holiday I am still having serious motivation issues, not to mention serious time to get everything that needs to be done issues. Add to this trying to become a healthier me, family and well life is getting in the way of my lovely blog. I promise I will try to come back in more regularly.
For the moment however her are some wonderful new fabrics that I have orders and should be hear very shortly.
While at the markets on Sunday we had the pleasure of being next to Megan from Wildflower Botanicals and did she have some wonderful products on offer.
We did an amazing swap, still thing I got the better deal as mine is extremely enjoyable. I got the Fruit Insufions Selection and after trying two of blends so far I am totally in love. They smell amazing while brewing and taste even better while drinking them. Information from her site:
A boxed gift pack containing six 10-serve bags of each of the following blends: Sunset Divine, Autumn Spice, Lemon Delight, Pure Bliss, Heavenly Night, Mountain Mist
I can most certainly see this becoming a rather large addiction. On the upside she is just down the road from me so I do get to save on postage :)
Go on have a look, you will be able to see, although not smell for yourselves.
I discovered this today over at ButtonsByLouLou and it is perfect because:
It is Tuesday and I can't wait for my headband from Hey Evangaline to arrive in the post! Jill is actually having an Etsy break at the moment but was lovely enough to still do an order for the above for me. Although now I think about it I think it will be an I can't wait to buy me somemore of these wonderful head pieces.
Appears that someone, alright me,has been fabric shopping again.
Here is a little peek at what is on it's way to me in the not to distant future. To celebrate, upon arrival of this wonderful new fabric I will be running a competition here at Inspired by Children. Be sure to check back.
I've managed to pick a few new fabrics that I am hoping to make some creations from before the markets on the 12th.
The first two are by far my favourite and can't wait to make something from them. And the cord I love, although my other half isn't overly impressed with it (but he doesn't understand the love of cord like me).
I am currently obessed with head bands, for me!
My hair is shoulder lenght, was longer until earlier this year when I had a chop (although would have liked it shorter, but husband & hairdresser won) and it is so easy to get out of the shower in the morning and pop on a band. I don't mean the bands that you wear as a child, but the full around the head, nice and thick band.
Currently I have a lacy white and two plain black so needed some more, some with something inspiring & interesting on them. Of course I have been doing a little finger shopping and thought I would share some with you all.
I saw these ones from Red Ruby Designs recently at Perth Upmarket, but ran out of time to go back and get myself one. They looked awesome and of course very different to what you would normally see instores.

That's right Woddle Bots, or me got our first wholesale order for nappies this week :)
*bounce*
I am happy, excited and pleased to announce that as of this week Woddle Bots nappies will be available from Handle With Care Nappy & Baby Boutique. Handle With Care was established in 2008 as a joint venture between two stay at home mums, Heather & Alison. Here is a little bit about the woman from HWC:
or finger shopping :)
It has been a while since I trailed the internet looking for fabulous items to purchase, read spend money on. So I had a few minutes and thought I would share some of my recent finds.
First some adorable little baby clips, definitely on the list to get some for Kyla in the Lavendar as they will work perfect with the little set that I made her a few months ago and that she wears all the time.

WAY TOO FULL!
So I have my cart from Fabricworm full and ready to check out once I have done a small cull :). I know that you are all wondering what items have made it, definitely made it. So I will share the top 10 new prints.
